The CME was accompanied by a medium-sized solar flare and a minor radiation storm. The event was captured by all the satellites of NASA's Heliophysics missions: The Solar Dynamics Observatory, the Solar and Heliospheric Observatory and the two Solar Terrestrial Relations Observatory space probes.

Does this mean we are all going to fry like bacon in the oven? No. But it may affect our satellites and communications today and tomorrow. What is for sure is that we will have some amazing pictures and videos of auroras soon.
